Black History Month
February is Black History Month and I've put up a few links to sites that may be of interest to students, teachers, librarians and other members of the community:
Infoplease.com has a very sweeping collection of site links. There's also the Black HIstory page from CMG Worldwide. The Biography Channel's web site has, well, biographies of important African American figures. And the Florida Memory Project has some great photos.
Finally, here's a link to a video of Dr. King's historic March on Washington (pictured above) in 1963. (I tried to embed the video but it took forever so I settled for the link instead.)
